I had a wonderful stay at the charming Buttles Shepherd's Hut. The hut itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything I needed, including a sink, heater, TV, and even a blind over the door window. The fenced-off garden with a cute picket fence was perfect for my small dog, and I loved having my own BBQ, fire pit, and deck chairs. The shower block was immaculate, and the proximity of dedicated parking was a great convenience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, promptly resolving any issues and even providing a free lift to the station. The campsite had a lovely atmosphere, and the joint shower block was exceptionally clean. The bed in the hut was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. I highly recommend Buttles Shepherd's Hut for its exceptional facilities, attentive staff, and impeccable hygiene.

While the area wasn't ideal for walking, it didn't bother me as I wasn't a walking traveler.

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They quickly resolved an issue with our fridge and even gave us free lifts to the station. They were also kind enough to provide us with a fan on a hot night. The shepherds hut itself was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the fenced-off garden, which allowed our dog to play freely. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the BBQ supplies were plentiful.

As walking travelers, we found the area for walking to be lacking. However, if you're not into hiking, this wouldn't be an issue for you.

We recently stayed at Buttles Shepherd's Hut for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic time. The hut itself was cozy and well-equipped, with the added bonus of a fenced-off garden for our dog to enjoy. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and didn't even need the foam topper we brought along. The staff at Buttles were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, from resolving issues with our fridge to providing us with a fan on a hot night. The campsite had a peaceful atmosphere and the shared shower block was kept immaculately clean. We also appreciated the convenient parking and proximity to the facilities. We will definitely be returning, perhaps in our motorhome next time.

My stay at Buttles Shepherd's Hut was amazing. The hut itself was well-equipped and immaculately clean. The fenced-off garden provided a safe space for my dog to play. The shower block was top-notch and the bed in the hut was incredibly comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. I highly recommend this place.

The only minor downsides were the lack of a microwave in the hut and the fencing could have been more secure, considering I had a small dog with me. However, these were not major issues and did not detract from the overall experience.

From the warmest check, in to the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail, everything was perfect. the hut itself was well, equipped, with all the necessities including a BBQ, fire pit, and comfortable deck chairs in our own garden. the shower and toilet block were of high, end quality, and the whole site was beautifully kept. the peacefulness of the caravan site added to the overall relaxing experience. We also appreciated the staff's exceptional service, as they promptly resolved any issues and even gave us complimentary lifts to the station. Thank you, Buttles, for a wonderful stay!

As someone with a small dog, I would have preferred a more secure fence around the back of the hut. The gaps in the hedge were a bit concerning.

We had an amazing time at this cozy accommodation. the hut was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog to run around and we loved having a choice between gas and coal BBQs. the wash facilities were top-notch, always spotless. the staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to resolve any issues and even giving us a free lift to the station. the bed was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite.

That the fencing around the garden could have been more secure, as we had a puppy and were worried about her getting out. a better kettle and toaster would have been a nice touch.
